Our Story begins here...
Technology continues to influence every aspect of our modern lives, including our health. Though our systems of care have evolved over the years, there remains an incredible opportunity for innovation and impact at the intersection of healthcare, design, and technology.
In 2016, we set out to seize this opportunity by assembling a unique digitally-focused research and development team at British Columbia Children’s Hospital, integrated with the University of British Columbia and BC Children’s Hospital Research Institute.
Today, we’re known as the Digital Lab, a multidisciplinary team that is united by our passion for social impact, with a focus on improving the lives of children and families, locally and around the world.
Our team holds broad experience and varied backgrounds, including science, technology, arts, medicine, engineering, psychology, and much more. We celebrate diversity, both personally and professionally, and pride ourselves on a strong culture of curiosity, creativity, and courage to challenge the status quo.
